This project entails the entire renovation of Merck Puerto Rico new Headquarters office located at Chrysler Building in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The construction involves the redistribution of interior spaces to create a new entrance area with additional offices, conference rooms and huddle rooms. Floor and wall finishes, as well as new identity branding were also part of the renovation effort. The Project was designed to be LEED certified, for this reason it had great challenges during the design stage to achieve greater efficiencies during its occupation. Working with an existing building and existing mechanical system brought significant challenges with the design decisions.
