Rafael Castro Montes de Oca Arquitectos (RCMdO) is a 8(a) & HUBZone certified and full service design practice that is dedicated to the development of urban design, architecture, interior architecture, and product design. Its founder, Rafael Castro Montes de Oca, AIA, LEED-AP, has 30 years of experience in the design, development, and project observation of projects in the public and private sector. His professional experience includes designing and participating in projects of great social importance in the Caribbean Region for the U.S. Federal Government and more than 25 Fortune 500 companies. His hard-earned understanding of the construction industry provides him with a strong ability to optimize proposed design/constructability schemes to suit client’s needs at an early stage of the project. Rafael has 15 years of experience providing Project Management services in the commercial, residential and industrial sector for his clients. As part of these services he has led the development of facility fit-outs, coordinated change management, and assumed responsibility for delivering a mixed range of schemes throughout all aspects of a project’s life cycle.
